The Victorinox Alox Synergy X is a beautiful penknife to own. The texture of aluminium scales give it a timeless premium feel. I find the pocket clip to be just the right balance of flexibility and sturdiness. The main blade lock is on the stiff side but that adds to the feel of safety when it engages.

The Swiss Army knife is solidly made, as expected from Victorinox products, but unfortunately there are two things that I don't like. Worse still, those were the main reasons I bought it. Firstly, the clip is too loose and I have already lost it from my pocket a couple of times. Secondly, in my opinion, the blade lock isn't very convenient to close, although maybe that's just my impression.

I have been dreaming of a Vixa knife in a set like this with Alox for a long time. It's my favourite to carry in my pocket. It meets all EDC requirements and has all the necessary functions. The price is also excellent – I haven't found a better one!
