A classic among EDC tools. Excellent quality, lightweight construction, and compact size combined with great functionality make this Swiss Army knife an excellent choice. The price is attractive enough that I can recommend it to everyone. Personally, I would like to see a pen included, but the low price makes up for its absence. I definitely recommend it as an EDC or for a BOB kit.

I have several larger and smaller Vics, but I use this one most often. It's a shame the other side of the file is practically useless – they could give a different grit or another tool. The price is lower than for the Spartan model. I think it's the optimal option for everyday use (EDC).

In my opinion, it's the ideal pocket knife for everyday carrying in your pocket – a compact Spartan. The main blade isn't much different in length, and it also has three openers and an awl, plus the added advantage of a nail file. You can extend it with a small screwdriver and pin.

Day to day, I wear a Leatherman Sidekick on my belt, but when I need to put on a suit and want something lighter, the Victorinox is great. For me, this model has everything you need, and it's very sharp straight from the factory.

This is a basic set of tools. For some it will be sufficient, but personally I would add a bit more and buy the model with a saw.
