UF PRO Striker FR Neck Gaiter Fire Resistant Protective Scarf - Tan

Fire-resistant balaclava in Tan shade is designed in the form of a sleeve from a combination of modacrylic (68%), Lyocell (29%), and elastane (3%). It provides effective protection for the head and neck against wind, dust, sun, low temperatures, and moisture caused by intense physical effort.

The fabric used in the scarf is flame-retardant (thanks to the content of modacrylic fibres), which means it does not sustain flames and does not melt, enhancing the level of protection in dangerous conditions (e.g. technical work, outdoor activities, services operations). The addition of Lyocell (cellulosic fibre) provides excellent breathability, efficient moisture absorption, and softness, comfort to touch, and good drapability on the skin. A minimal amount of elastane offers additional elasticity, allowing for a perfect fit to the shape of the neck or head, without restricting movements. This combination of materials makes the scarf comfortable even during prolonged wear.

Thanks to its design, the scarf can be used as a protective mask, headband, neckerchief, cap, hood, hair tie, or wrist protector. When folded it takes up little space, which allows for convenient storage in a jacket or trousers pocket.
