Texar Traper 35 l Backpack Olive

I bought the backpack for my son to use at school. It seems solidly made from durable fabrics. Very spacious, with many small pockets. A nice feature is the ability to reduce the size of the backpack when it's not fully loaded, using the side straps. After first use: comfortable, the straps don't press on his shoulders.

After about four months of use, the material started to come apart significantly, with threads sticking out in many places, which looks unattractive; the waist belt is almost completely torn off (see photo). The backpack is quite spacious, although this does not go hand in hand with its durability. It has many pockets and served its purpose well during those few months.

A very good backpack, carefully made from solid materials and very spacious – a laptop fits with no problem. The price is adequate for the quality, and it has a strap system for attaching additional pouches, for example a first aid kit. I definitely recommend it.

I have been using this backpack for six years and I am very satisfied with it. Several times there were local tears (with exceptionally heavy loads), but after minor repairs at the tailor’s, everything works perfectly. The backpack is very roomy, and thanks to the many pockets, things can be well organised. It stands out for its solid quality and affordable price.

I've been using the backpack for a month, and despite its unusual shape, it's very comfortable. If something doesn’t fit in a pocket, you can cinch the flap and nothing will fall out. Comfortable to carry, though it sticks out a bit on the shoulders, probably why it’s recommended to use it with the chest strap fastened (unfortunately, mine was poorly attached and came undone, but that's a detail). Lots of thoughtfully designed pockets – you have to get used to the largest one not being next to your back, and the second one is the default laptop compartment. It will probably fit a standard 15–16-inch laptop. I recommend it!

I've been using it for 6 years, highly recommend it. The construction of the backpack allows significant increase in capacity without the need for additional modules – you just need to plan things well. When moving, I fit almost an entire room in the backpack, e.g. a kettle, toaster, pillow, bedding, clothes, food and lots of other stuff. The compression straps are perfect for carrying blankets, pillows, duvets or a sleeping mat. Under the lid, you can hide a large item and secure it with a strap – it won’t fall out. Highly recommended!

Great, functional, and spacious backpack. However, there is a downside – the side MOLLE system is very narrow, it was hard for me to attach an extra pouch. The front straps are wider, though not all of them. Despite minor drawbacks, I highly recommend it.

The backpack performs very well. The back panel is ideal, and the straps are integrated with the rest of the backpack so you can be sure nothing will tear. There are lots of pockets, and you can fit a folder or back protector in the laptop compartment – handy for motorcyclists, for example. The hip belt can be detached. Very handy for everyday use, on a motorbike, or at work – easily fits clothes, a laptop, and snacks. The top handle is wide enough to grab while wearing gloves.

Decent backpack. I’ve used it for a year, and it works very well. I recommend it.

The backpack is made from high quality materials. I really like the external pockets, which allow separate storage of different items (e.g. first aid kit, rope). The top flap lets you attach a sleeping mat or sleeping bag underneath it. The downside is the small capacity of the main compartments – it is hard to fit larger items. Plus for the MOLLE system. For long expeditions, it seems a bit less comfortable – the upper straps are set too far apart for me.

The backpack is very durable and well made, and at the same time looks great. Tested on several trips when I had stuff for the whole family in it. It has good capacity and can be cinched down when not fully packed. The lid is useful for quickly stowing a jacket or blanket, and the molle system allows expansion. Ideal, for example, for campfires – you can pack a lot of food and drinks. I recommend it!
