Texar Elite Pro Rip-Stop Shorts - Olive

Great shorts. They may not be the cheapest, but after the excellent experience with the longer version, I decided to buy the short ones as well and it was definitely worth it.

Very comfortable and practical, made from good quality material, and the elastic bands in the waist make them easy to adjust. I have several pairs in different colours and I am very satisfied. I definitely recommend them.

Great shorts with an interesting pattern, they have plenty of pockets and are made from durable ripstop material, which ensures their longevity. Very comfortable and functional, for this price it’s a perfect choice for me.

I've decided to write a review after three seasons of intensive use. Pros: the shorts fit great, have a slim cut, offer complete freedom of movement, nothing pulls or rips. Compared to them, Helikon UTS feel less fitted, and these are the nicest ones in my wardrobe. The price is attractive, XL fits perfectly for 184 cm/100 kg. Cons: the workmanship is worse than Helikon, lots of hanging threads, crooked seams, carabiners broke immediately, I had to sew up the pockets because they ripped, but after these fixes they're indestructible. The material seems worse than Helikon but it's still durable and dirt-resistant. Another downside is the external cargo pockets, which are very small. Despite the great fit, I only have these and WZ10 from Texar – it's better to pay extra for UTS.

I bought Texar Elite Pro RipStop Coyote shorts. Overall I'm satisfied with them, I'd rate them 7/10. I like the Texar brand – they use good materials and sew well, but sometimes their products don't fully meet expectations. With these shorts: 1) when you sit down, the back sticks out and your underwear is visible; 2) the zips at the front pockets are mainly decorative and not very spacious – it's hard to put anything in there. The rest of the shorts' elements are of a very high standard.

Unusual sizing – I have a 99 cm waist, the XL I ordered was very loose, and when I exchanged it for L, they turned out to be a bit tight in the thighs. The material seems sturdy, but I have to subtract points for inaccurately marked sizes.

They are well made and have an interesting cut. The waistband is one size smaller compared to Helikon.

Well-made trousers from durable material. They have many functional pockets. One note – the zip pockets could be a bit bigger.

The shorts are well made. However, I recommend checking the actual measurements before purchasing, as the size may differ from the long-legged version of the same model.

I returned the shorts because the seam on the inside of the waistband irritated me. If I buy shorts, it's only Helikon. After this failed attempt, I already have two pairs from that brand.
