Great softshell, fits perfectly. It works brilliantly during chilly days. The only downside is the slightly small pockets and lack of inside pockets, but apart from that, everything is fine. I highly recommend it.
Texar Convoy 2.0 Softshell Jacket - Olive
Softshell in Olive, equipped with five functional pockets, adjustable cuffs and a high collar. The construction provides effective protection against wind and rain, while offering very good thermal properties.
Breathable, elastic material, fleece lining
The outer layer made from a blend of polyester (95%) and elastane (5%) is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage, abrasion and elasticity in all directions. The integrated fleece lining effectively retains heat. Underarm vents ensure effective air circulation. The structure of the material prevents branches, leaves and other elements of the forest undergrowth from sticking to it.
5 practical pockets
Jacket equipped with 5 capacious zipped pockets:
- two hip pockets
- one breast pocket
- two shoulder pockets
Main zipper, adjustable cuffs, high collar
The main fastening is a zip with a chin guard, which increases comfort and protects the skin from irritation. The high collar effectively protects the neck from the wind. Velcro adjustable cuffs allow for a better fit and increase protection against the cold. Additional zips on the sides allow quick access to the strap.
Velcro panels
Velcro panels on both shoulders allow patches or emblems such as the flag, unit emblem or Morale Patches to be attached, allowing the jacket to be personalised.

Great style and very good workmanship. It’s a pity the jacket does not have zippered ventilation under the arms. I hope it will perform well during outdoor use.
-
The jacket is sturdy, does not let in rain or wind. It works great. I definitely recommend it.
-
High quality workmanship, however the sizing is much smaller than indicated.
-
Well made, comfortable, doesn't restrict movement. I also wear it on a daily basis.

Very good product from a Polish manufacturer. The size matches the description. In my opinion, Texar is better than Helikon not only because of a lower price but also due to a better cut and design.

The jacket works great, you can always have it with you. Even after quickly folding it and tossing it in the boot, it doesn't crease. It effectively protects against the wind and is comfortable to wear.
-
Nice style, but rather designed for slim people. There is no ventilation under the arms, and the pockets on the shoulders are impractical – everything moves down to the elbows. Despite this, the jacket is generally quite comfortable.

Comparison of Convoy 2.0 and Falcon: If someone is considering choosing between these two models, here are my impressions: Convoy – more urban look, thinner fleece, presence of a membrane, fewer pockets, no hood, has internal pockets, zips for weapons do not work. Falcon – equipped with a hood, drawstrings at the bottom, thicker fleece, more pockets, better suited for outdoor use than city use, has zips under the arms, no membrane. For everyday use I recommend Convoy, and for trips the Falcon.
