Texar Assault 28 l Backpack Black
Patrol backpack which pockets will accommodate the equipment necessary for several days of activities. It will prove useful both for hiking/survival and for everyday use in the city. The material used is tear- and abrasion-resistant 600D polyester.
Comfortable carrying system with chest and waist belt
It is equipped with carrying system consisting of a padded, contoured back with grooves for air exchange, and harness with quick-detachment (QD) fastex buckles for instant backpack drop. Stable carrying is facilitated by full, infinitely adjustable contoured harnesses, a chest strap and a hip belt that can be detached.
Two main compartments, four pockets closed with zippers
The backpack is equipped with four pockets. In two main compartments we can accommodate a sleeping bag, provisions or spare items of clothing. Inside, there are compartmental mesh pockets where you can store all sorts of small items. Two smaller pockets at the front of the backpack - a larger one at the bottom and a smaller one at the top - are also used for carrying smaller items of equipment and finding them quickly. Their dimensions allow us to carry a small camera, navigation, glasses or phone, while the larger one contains an organizer where we can place, for example, documents and keys. All pockets are closed with zippers - thick, spiral, with double zippers. Their operation is smooth, fast and quiet, because thanks to the removal of unnecessary metal elements, they do not make noise, bumping against each other.
Compartment for hydration system
On the outer back of the backpack there is a velcro-closed compartment for a hydration system bag. Right above the compartment there are two Velcro (velcro) closed/open straps, which allow carrying, for example, a poncho or rain jacket.
MOLLE system, D-rings
The backpack has the ability to attach equipment and configure it thanks to the use of the MOLLE system located on the front and sides of the backpack. It is also equipped with D-rings (closed "D" shaped grommets), for attaching tactical gear to the backpack.
compression straps
Adjusting the outer size of the backpack to the amount of equipment carried in it is possible thanks to compensation straps - on the sides, bottom and top. By shortening the straps, the backpack can be flattened, for example, when the main compartment is emptied and smaller pockets are filled. This allows the backpack to remain stable and attractive.

At this price, the backpack has almost only positives – it's roomy, the pockets are well positioned, and the material and stitching are top quality. Only the strap width could be greater for more comfort during long hikes.

For this price, the backpack is basically all positives – it’s spacious, has lots of pockets and attachments, and boasts solid workmanship and a durable material. The only thing I’d improve is the width of the shoulder straps – they would be more comfortable during long hikes.

Practical backpack, plenty of pockets and compartments. The material and stitching are of a high standard. The downside is the narrow shoulder straps and waistband, which become uncomfortable with long use. However, at this price point it’s hard to expect everything. I rate value for money at 4+/5.

In terms of capacity, number of pockets and various small items you can store – it's fine, but in terms of carrying comfort it's not ideal for people over 185 cm tall – it sits oddly on the back. I’d give it 4/5 if not for the fact that after coming down from Rawek the left strap attachment failed, a hole appeared in the main compartment and it cannot be repaired. Nevertheless, after more than 3 years of use, you can say it has served its time.

The rucksack is well designed (pockets, molle system), very solidly made. Unfortunately, I returned it because once worn it looked rather narrow and tall. Still, I recommend it.

I use it at the shooting range, it holds everything I need, the extra pockets and numerous straps are very practical. My only concern is the 'vinyl' lining – will it start to crumble over time? But for this price, if it lasts 2-3 years, it will be great.
