Tasmanian Tiger TT Modular Grab Pack IRR Backpack 30 l - Stone Grey Olive
A green backpack with a capacity of 30 l, designed for evacuation operations, survival, EDC, and as a medical backpack. It is made from durable Cordura 700D with a hydrophobic DWR coating. The materials and structural components feature IRR properties that reduce the reflection of infrared radiation. Two main compartments that open all the way around improve access to equipment and its organisation, while the adjustable carrying system Y2 allows the backpack to be fitted to the user’s build.
Cordura 700D, DWR coating
The backpack is made from Cordura 700D, which stands out for its high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and mechanical damage. The material performs well during intensive use and frequent contact with the ground and carried equipment. The outer surface is covered with a hydrophobic PFC/PFAS-free DWR coating that reduces moisture penetration.
The materials, webbing, Velcro elements, and buckles used have IRR properties that reduce the reflection of infrared radiation and meet the requirements of Bundeswehr standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 in terms of reflectance for the 650–1250 nm range.
Two compartments, pockets, and equipment organisation
The backpack is equipped with two compartments that open all the way around with YKK zips, allowing them to be laid out in a clamshell configuration. The front compartment contains 4 detachable zipped pockets, suitable for sorting equipment. The flap of this compartment features an organiser with 4 flat transparent zipped pockets, making it easier to quickly reach smaller items. The front also has two flat document pockets.
The rear compartment is equipped with a large Velcro area and two MOLLE straps, allowing equipment to be arranged individually. The design also remains compatible with a hydration system, and an adjustable strap with a buckle allows the rear compartment to be temporarily closed when it remains open.
Adjustable carrying system Y2
The adjustable carrying system Y2 allows the back length to be adjusted for shorter and taller users. The padded shoulder straps are removable, as is the waist belt, while the chest strap is adjustable. The TT SR Dual buckles are made of acetal, and their design allows both halves to be connected in any configuration. The backpack also features three carry handles that make it easier to grab and carry quickly.
MOLLE/PALS, daisy chain, and compression straps
The bottom of the backpack features MOLLE/PALS webbing, while the front uses daisy chain mounting loops compatible with this standard, making it easier to attach additional equipment. The design is complemented by a Velcro panel for patches and markings, a hanging loop and loops for routing the hydration system tube on the shoulder straps. Removable compression straps help reduce the backpack’s volume and maintain a compact profile without unnecessary protruding elements.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
