This is my first vest, so it's hard for me to compare it with others. The two built-in magazine pouches are rather inconvenient to access, the quick-release system works properly, and the vest itself is large and protects the torso and back well. I can't check the IRR properties. The set includes an additional strap and a quick-release cable. I think the purchase was worthwhile.
The Plate Carrier tactical vest is made of durable 500D IRR Cordura, which perfectly counteracts recognition by residual light amplifiers (night vision devices). It is designed to carry SAPI type hard ballistic cartridges in S/M sizes. It will prove useful for military and other uniformed services, and will also be appreciated by advanced ASG players.
The front and back of the vest have been trimmed with MOLLE/Pals system mounting straps, which allow for the arrangement of loaders and pouches according to the user's preference. The side cummerbund modules with adjustable perimeter have also been covered with MOLLE/Pals webbing .
On the front of the vest there is a removable pocket for SAPI ballistic cartridges, and a velcro panel has been sewn onto the pocket, which allows the attachment of any emblems, such as distinction, national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
Located on the shoulders, the comfortpads are equipped with a mesh spacer for adequate comfort and ventilation. Thanks to additional straps and hooks, it is possible to attach cabling.
Plate Carrier MK IV IRR is equipped with a quick-release system operated with one hand. On the back of the vest there is an escape handle that can also serve as a carrying handle.
The Plate Carrier MK IV IRR vest complies with German Bundeswehr standards TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281.

The Tasmanian Tiger Plate Carrier MK IV IRR Stone Grey Olive tactical vest is very well made and looks attractive. As for the quick release system, operating the cable takes a bit of effort. I'm not sure why that is, but the cable could be a bit more flexible. I advise against bending down too much during this process, as the cable bends a lot. At the end, the cable can be routed in three different ways – the one shown in the video on the website, a second in the manufacturer’s video, and a third according to the instruction manual (available only in English and German).
