Tasmanian Tiger Modular Daypack XL Backpack 23 l - Black
A 23 l backpack in Black, designed for evacuation, survival, EDC, and as a medical backpack. It is made from durable Cordura 700D coated with a hydrophobic DWR coating. A spacious compartment and practical pockets improve equipment organisation, while the adjustable carry system allows the backpack to be fitted to the user's build.
Cordura 700D, DWR coating
The backpack is made from Cordura 700D, distinguished by high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and mechanical damage. The material performs well during intensive use and frequent contact with the ground and equipment. The outer layer is covered with a hydrophobic PFC/PFAS-free DWR coating that limits moisture absorption.
Capacious compartment, practical pocket
The model is equipped with a spacious main compartment, accessed via a two-way zip. Pull tabs at the ends allow convenient operation even while wearing gloves. Inside the main compartment there are D-rings, a Laser Cut panel, and velco (velcro), allowing additional organisers to be attached. The interior is also adapted for safely carrying a laptop with a maximum screen size of 15.4". A spacious open pocket is placed on the front wall of the compartment. There is also an additional pocket on the front.
The backpack is adapted for use with a hydration system. The water tank can be placed in the main compartment, and the tube routed outside, making hydration easier while on the move.
Adjustable carry system
The Thermo Mold Carrying System uses a profiled, thermoformed back panel that conforms to the shape of the back and helps stabilise the backpack while walking. The design creates space between the back and the main compartment, supporting air circulation and reducing the build-up of heat and moisture.. The adjustable chest strap allows both height and width adjustment, improving load stabilisation during movement and field activity. The carry handle makes the backpack easier to carry and lift.
MOLLE/PALS system, compression straps
Laser-cut openings in the MOLLE/PALS standard are placed on the front, allowing additional pockets, pouches, and other compatible equipment items to be attached. The front velcro panel allows emblems such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patch to be attached.
The backpack is equipped with compression straps that allow its volume to be reduced depending on the amount of carried equipment. When loosened, they can be used for stabilising lightweight gear carried on the outside. Buckles placed at the front allow quick release and tension adjustment.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
