Tasmanian Tiger Modular Daypack L Backpack 18 l - Black

A backpack with a capacity of 18 l in Black, designed for evacuation operations, survival, EDC and medical applications. It is made of durable Cordura 700D coated with a hydrophobic DWR coating. The roomy compartment and practical pouches improve the organisation of equipment, while the adjustable carry system allows the backpack to be fitted to the user's build.

Cordura 700D, DWR coating

The backpack is made of Cordura 700D, distinguished by high resistance to abrasion, tearing and mechanical damage. The material withstands intensive use and frequent contact with the ground and equipment well. The outer layer is coated with a PFC/PFAS-free hydrophobic DWR coating that limits moisture absorption.

Spacious compartment, 3 pouches

The model is equipped with a spacious main compartment, accessed via a two-way zip. Pull tabs at the ends allow for efficient operation even while wearing gloves. The main compartment is equipped with velcro panels that allow additional organisers to be mounted and the interior to be adapted to individual needs. Inside the main compartment there are adjustable attachment points, a pouch for scissors, a pouch for disposable gloves and a large detachable pouch on the inside of the flap. In addition, the backpack features 3 pouches: one on the front and two side ones for a water bottle, food thermos or map.

Adjustable carry system

Adjustable shoulder straps allow the backpack to be fitted to the user's height and build. The adjustable chest strap allows both its height and width to be set, improving load stability during walking and field activities. The carry handle makes the backpack easier to carry and lift.

MOLLE/PALS system, compression straps

Laser-cut openings in the MOLLE/PALS standard are placed on the front, allowing additional pouches, organisers and other compatible equipment items to be attached. The front velcro panel allows emblems such as a national flag, unit insignia or Morale Patch to be attached.

The backpack is equipped with compression straps that allow its volume to be reduced depending on the amount of equipment being carried. The straps can also be used to securely lash equipment to the outside, for example a jacket, tarp or sleeping pad.

Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

DWR feature
DWR

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

Laser Cut System feature
Laser Cut System

LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
