Swiss Eye ViperV620 Tactical Glasses - Smoke/Vermilion/Black

The lightweight design of the protective glasses is based on a frame made from durable and lightweight plastic and a visor crafted from polycarbonate. The ergonomically shaped glasses fit securely to the face, providing comfort even during extended wear. They protect your eyes from UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. Rubberised contact points, nose pads and temple ends increase stability and ensure the glasses stay in place even during movement.

The visors are distinguished by their high durability and construction from robust polycarbonate

The high-grade polycarbonate used in the visors has an AntiScratch coating, which greatly improves resistance to scratches and minor damage. The inside of the visor is covered with an AntiFog coating to prevent the lenses from misting up. The glasses protect your eyes from ballistic hazards and shield from UVA, UVB and UVC wavelengths up to 620 nm.

The visors can be easily interchanged

The model comes with two interchangeable visors:

  • Smoke – offers effective protection against intense light
  • Vermilion – significantly enhances contrast in low-visibility conditions

The frames remain robust even under heavy use

The frames are made from PC Impact material which is impact-resistant, positively affecting the durability of the lenses. The nose pads and ends of the temples have a rubberised finish, increasing wearing comfort and reducing the risk of the glasses slipping.

  • EN 12312-1 – confirms full protection against UV400 radiation, shielding against both UVA and UVB rays.

Anti-Fog coating prevents lens fogging, maintaining clear vision in humid conditions or during varying temperatures. Eyeglasses with this coating do not require frequent cleaning or defogging, making vision more comfortable.

STANAG 2920 feature
STANAG 2920

STANAG 2920 is a NATO standard for ballistic protection. It defines general test methods to measure the ability of materials to stop bullets and shrapnel. The standard defines the V50 parameter, which determines the velocity in meters per second (m/s) at which a projectile can penetrate a given material with 50% probability.

STANAG 4296 feature
STANAG 4296

STANAG 4296 is a NATO standardization agreement for military equipment and procedures. It defines the general characteristics of military safety glasses and goggles, such as lightweight and comfortable fit, reduction of fogging and scratching, field of vision of not less than 160 degrees, compatibility with other protective equipment and ballistic protection as defined in STANAG 2920.
