Swiss Eye Raptor Large Tactical Glasses - Coyote

Lightweight glasses in Coyote colour, characterised by high mechanical resistance of the lenses, effectively protect the eyes from shrapnel, ricochets, and other incoming objects according to class F (object weighs 0.86 g and moves at a speed of 45 m/s). They protect the eyes from UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation. The lack of a lower frame part does not restrict the field of vision. Rubber contact elements, such as nose pads and temple tips, enhance stability and secure fit during movement. The model is dedicated to outdoor use during sunny weather and intense lighting. The Large model is distinguished by a frame width of 140 mm.

durable visors made of polycarbonate

Visors made of high-quality polycarbonate, covered with an Anti-scratch coating, protect against scratches and mechanical damage. An Anti-Fog coating is placed on the inner side to prevent the lenses from fogging. Ballistic eye protection along with UVA, UVB, and UVC radiation protection up to 400 nm wavelength.

durable frames, rubber adjustable temples

Frames made of durable nylon, and the glasses' construction allows for simultaneous use of hearing protectors. Rubberised nose pad and temples increase wearing comfort and prevent slipping. Temples with adjustable length and angle allow individual adjustment of the glasses. A prescription lenses adapter can be applied.

Interchangeable visors

The model includes 3 interchangeable visors:

  • Smoke: protecting against intense light
  • Amber: enhancing contrast in low visibility conditions
  • Clear: not restricting visibility even in low light

protection standards

  • EN 12312-1 - indicates full protection against UV400 radiation, effectively blocking UVA and UVB rays
  • EN 166 - meets the European standard for protection against medium energy impact
  • ANSI Z87.1+ - according to this standard, the frame and visor withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h
  • STANAG 2920 - confirms compliance with NATO requirements for ballistic eye protection

Anti-Scratch coating feature
Anti-Scratch coating

Anti-Scratch coating increases the scratch resistance of the lenses and protects them from mechanical damage. Thanks to the coating, the glasses will retain their properties for longer, even with intensive use.

Anti-Fog coating feature
Anti-Fog coating

Anti-Fog coating prevents lens fogging, maintaining clear vision in humid conditions or during varying temperatures. Eyeglasses with this coating do not require frequent cleaning or defogging, making vision more comfortable.

STANAG 2920 feature
STANAG 2920

STANAG 2920 is a NATO standard for ballistic protection. It defines general test methods to measure the ability of materials to stop bullets and shrapnel. The standard defines the V50 parameter, which determines the velocity in meters per second (m/s) at which a projectile can penetrate a given material with 50% probability.

EN166 feature
EN166

EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.

EN12312-1 feature
EN12312-1

European standard EN12312-1 specifies sun protection requirements for non-corrective glasses and sunscreens in everyday use.

ANSI Z87.1+ feature
ANSI Z87.1+
ANSI Z87.1+ is a safety standard for safety glasses that confirms their impact resistance and ensures eye protection in demanding conditions, such as when cutting metal or working with tools. The “+” symbol indicates compliance with the requirements for high impact resistance, this marking is usually found on the lens or temple.
