Swiss Eye G-Tac Tactical Goggles - Olive

Tactical goggles in olive colour designed to protect the eyes during operations, shooting and outdoor activities in demanding conditions. Their construction combines high mechanical resistance and user comfort, effectively shielding the eyes from external factors such as fragments, dust, and intense sunlight.

interchangeable lenses

This model features clear lenses made from polycarbonate, providing excellent impact resistance and clarity of vision. An Anti-Fog coating helps reduce fogging, while an Anti-Scratch layer increases resistance to surface scratches.

The set includes additional smoke and orange lenses, allowing you to adjust visibility to the current light conditions:

  • Smoke lenses – reduce light intensity and protect the eyes from sunlight.
  • Orange lenses – enhance contrast and improve visibility in low-light conditions.

Magnetic attachment system – rapid visor replacement

The goggle design uses a magnetic lens change and mounting mechanism. The transparent base visor allows for the use of either orange or smoke lenses, which are held in place by magnets. This solution enables swift configuration changes to match the lighting conditions without having to remove the goggles – the lenses can be swapped with one hand.

High level of eye protection

The goggles offer full protection against UVA, UVB and UVC radiation, shielding the eyes from harmful sunlight. Compliance with multiple ballistic and safety standards confirms their suitability for tactical and industrial use:

  • EN 12312-1 – solar radiation protection
  • MIL-PRF-32432A – ballistic eye protection standard
  • ANSI Z87.1 – impact and mechanical resistance
  • STANAG 2920/4296 – NATO ballistic standards
  • EN 166 – mechanical protection (for clear lenses)
  • EN 172 – solar radiation filtering (for clear and smoke lenses)

Contoured frame and adjustable strap

The goggle frame features a contoured shape that fits closely to the face, effectively limiting the entry of dust, dirt and small particles. The low-profile design is compatible with night vision systems.

The adjustable strap, attached to wide side panels, keeps the goggles stable and allows precise adjustment to a helmet or head. The strap is additionally fitted with a fabric guard for greater wearing comfort.

ventilation system

Wearing comfort is further enhanced by a ventilation system with air vents that improve air circulation and reduce lens fogging. The vents are protected by a neoprene seal that effectively keeps out dust, dirt and debris while maintaining adequate airflow.

microfibre pouch, option to fit RX adapter

The model is compatible with an optional RX adapter for corrective lenses, letting you tailor the goggles for users with vision defects. The set also includes a microfibre pouch for protection and safe storage of the goggles and spare lenses.

Anti-Scratch coating feature
Anti-Scratch coating

Anti-Scratch coating increases the scratch resistance of the lenses and protects them from mechanical damage. Thanks to the coating, the glasses will retain their properties for longer, even with intensive use.

Anti-Fog coating feature
Anti-Fog coating

Anti-Fog coating prevents lens fogging, maintaining clear vision in humid conditions or during varying temperatures. Eyeglasses with this coating do not require frequent cleaning or defogging, making vision more comfortable.

STANAG 2920 feature
STANAG 2920

STANAG 2920 is a NATO standard for ballistic protection. It defines general test methods to measure the ability of materials to stop bullets and shrapnel. The standard defines the V50 parameter, which determines the velocity in meters per second (m/s) at which a projectile can penetrate a given material with 50% probability.

EN166 feature
EN166

EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.

EN172 feature
EN172

EN172 European standard specifying markings and transmittance and corresponding test methods for sunscreens that protect against solar glare.

STANAG 4296 feature
STANAG 4296

STANAG 4296 is a NATO standardization agreement for military equipment and procedures. It defines the general characteristics of military safety glasses and goggles, such as lightweight and comfortable fit, reduction of fogging and scratching, field of vision of not less than 160 degrees, compatibility with other protective equipment and ballistic protection as defined in STANAG 2920.

ANSI Z87.1 feature
ANSI Z87.1

Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.

EN12312-1 feature
EN12312-1

European standard EN12312-1 specifies sun protection requirements for non-corrective glasses and sunscreens in everyday use.
