Sordin Supreme X2 Gel Neckband Active Hearing Protectors - Green

Professional active hearing protectors were created for both service personnel and sport shooting enthusiasts. They are suitable for use in the field and during training. Their low-profile design and high-quality materials ensure wearing comfort even for extended periods. They reduce noise following the European Single Number Rating (SNR) standard, offering suppression at a level of SNR 29 dB.

The SordinHEAR2 sound system ensures optimal sound quality and offers four audio profiles (Hunter, Shooter, Focus and Ambient off). Two waterproof omnidirectional microphones effectively capture ambient sounds and transmit them to built-in speakers. Harmful sounds are suppressed to a safe level of 82 dB, while soft sounds are amplified.

The profiled neckband made of plastic and steel, with a graduated adjustment system, allows the adaptors to meet individual needs, while its folding design facilitates transport and storage. Earcups with comfortable gel cushions significantly enhance user comfort. Thanks to large and easily accessible function buttons, it is possible to operate them in tactical gloves or challenging weather conditions, suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters.

The model is powered by an AA battery or Sordin Power 14500 rechargeable battery, enabling operation for up to approx. 400 hours. Battery replacement simply involves unscrewing the cover on the side of one of the ear cups. The device is equipped with a low energy warning system (when battery level allows for approx. 40 hours of operation) and automatic shutdown function after 4 hours of inactivity.

The protectors feature a 3.5 mm AUX audio input, allowing connection to devices such as a two-way radio or mobile phone.

The Sordin Supreme X2 Neckband model meets the following standards:

• SNR 29 dB - suppression level according to the European SNR (Single Number Rating) indicator, indicating the expected noise reduction in a typical working environment.
• IP68 - sealing class for the battery compartment and microphones, providing complete protection against dust and resistance to immersion in water up to 2 m for 30 minutes.
• EN 352-1:2020 - defines requirements for ear-worn hearing protectors, regardless of electronic functions, confirming the effectiveness of noise suppression by passive and active earmuffs.
• EN 352-4:2020 - standard for models with sound level adaptation function, ensuring that microphones and electronics amplify soft sounds while suppressing dangerous ones.
• EN 352-6:2020 - standard for protectors with an audio input, ensuring that sound from external sources (e.g. phone, two-way radio) does not exceed a safe level.
• MIL-STD 810 - US military standard specifying test procedures for equipment resistance to extreme environmental conditions such as vibrations, impacts, humidity, dust, frost or high temperatures.
• MIL-STD-461 standard - US military standard specifying requirements for the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronic devices, concerning resistance to electromagnetic interference and the emission of such interference.
• ANSI S3.19-1974 - defines the method of laboratory measurement of noise suppression by hearing protectors, such as earmuffs or earplugs.
• RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) - product free from hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium or mercury.
• WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) - compliance with EU regulations concerning the disposal and recycling of electronic equipment.
