Sordin SmartEar Impulse Protective Earplugs - Orange

Hearing protectors equipped with an advanced impulse filter, designed for use in noisy environments such as shooting ranges, factories and construction sites. Their performance reduces the peak sound pressure level produced by gun or rifle shots. They were developed for military use and are used by NATO soldiers.

The model has achieved ANSI IPIL certification for impulse noise up to 166 dB, which translates into an attenuation of 33 dB. In an unpeaked situation, the protectors provide SNR, or the difference in the maximum volume we can achieve relative to the noise of the device, of 19 dB, thus guaranteeing audibility of voice and ambient sounds with minimal occlusion effect (clogged ear effect).

The earplugs are made of high-quality medical TPE material, which is hypoallergenic and safe for the skin. Their compact size and comfortable ear tips make them suitable for all-day wear, discreetly fitting under headsets or ear muffs.

The set comes with two pairs of ear tips - medium (6 - 11 mm) and large (7 - 12 mm). The large tips contain acoustic filters with a high-tech mesh, and can be installed in the medium tips. They provide adequate ventilation of the ears, increasing comfort. They do not require rolling and can be used repeatedly.

The SmartEar Impulse model provides natural hearing ability, which is crucial for maintaining situational awareness.

The kit comes with a case-pendant for easy carrying of the protectors.
