This was supposed to be a summer model, and that is exactly what it is. It was supposed to have a rectangular blanket shape, and it indeed does. A mosquito net for sleeping under a tarp is a great solution. And on top of that, being readily available in the shop, it is second to none.

Snugpak Jungle Bag Sleeping bag Black - right
Durable rectangular sleeping bag in Black, allowing comfortable body positioning and natural movement during sleep. Made from innovative Snugpak materials such as Micro Diamond Rip-Stop, Paratex Antibacterial, and Travelsoft.
Temperature and usage conditions
Usage temperatures of the sleeping bag Jungle Bag defined according to EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 7 deg. C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-extreme: 2 deg. C-– the lowest temperature survivable in the sleeping bag. This is not a recommended value for standard usage.
Micro Diamond construction, Paratex Antibacterial lining
The outer shell with water-repellent properties is made from Micro Diamond fabric with reinforced Rip-Stop weave. The inside features Paratex Antibacterial polyester, which inhibits microbial growth, eliminates unpleasant odors, and enhances comfort during use. Additionally, a small pocket for small items is located in the upper inner section.
Travelsoft filling
The filling is lightweight synthetic Travelsoft insulation, ensuring optimal heat retention. The special fiber structure allows both hand and machine washing of the sleeping bag.
Zip on the right side
The main closure is a two-way zipper located on the right side. The inside is equipped with a anti-snag tape. The zipper can be opened partially at the feet for ventilation or fully so that the sleeping bag can be used as a quilt. It is also possible to connect two sleeping bags into a double one when paired with another model with a left-side zipper.
Hood with mosquito net protection against cold
An anatomically designed hood provides additional protection against heat loss from the head. Tightening the drawcord minimizes heat loss and increases comfort when sleeping in low temperatures. The integrated mosquito net protects the head from insects, allowing a peaceful sleep.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is easy to carry and store. When packed, its dimensions are 18 x 15 cm and weight 900 g, making it easy to transport without unnecessary bulk.

Paratex Antibacterial is an antibacterial and antifungal finish used in fabrics used in the manufacture of sleeping bags. Its function is to reduce the growth of bacteria, leading to a reduction in unpleasant odors and reducing the need to wash the sleeping bag frequently, keeping it fresher for longer. The moisture-wicking properties and high breathability of Paratex fabrics remain unchanged despite the use of this antibacterial finish.
Travelsoft
Travelsoft is a synthetic filling consisting of ultralight, highly compressible thin fibers. It provides effective thermal insulation with minimal volume and weight. The material retains its heating properties even in humid conditions, it is easy to maintain and quick-drying.

Excellent summer sleeping bag that stands out with its tiny packed size. Combined with a bivvy bag and some clothing, it works very well at 12 degrees; I haven’t been able to test it at lower temperatures yet. For me, it replaces a poncho liner and, with its smaller packed size, offers more options thanks to the hood, mosquito net and zips (usable as a sleeping bag and a blanket)

The sleeping bag is very practical and handy. I use it on autumn days when camping under a tarp. The zip at the bottom allows you to sleep in your shoes and stick them outside the sleeping bag. It works great with lightweight kits and small backpacks.
