Silky is a Japanese manufacturer of hand saws with a long tradition, whose origins date back to 1919, when Katsuji Miyawaki founded the company in the city of Ono.     Very good saw, comfortable when folded, the case effectively protects against accidental opening. When unfolded, the saw is locked, so it won't fold by accident. It cuts effectively as long as you follow the manufacturer's instructions and saw in the right direction – pushing too hard may cause the blade to bend.

    Top-shelf equipment. Appreciated by many bushcraft enthusiasts. In my opinion, it has the perfect size for cutting medium-thickness sticks for a campfire, and it can also handle thicker ones. Before first use, it's worth watching an instructional video – these saws do not forgive mistakes and the blade can be broken very easily.
