Sea to Summit Evac Compression Dry Bag Ultralight 5 l - High Rise Grey

An ultralight, waterproof compression sack with a capacity of 5 litres, guaranteeing a waterproof rating of 2000 mm/m2. It uses durable bluesign®-certified Ultra-Sil 30D nylon, coated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating.

Evac membrane, Roll-Top closure, waterproof seams

The high-tech Evac membrane, with its billions of microscopic pores, provides an effective barrier to water while allowing vapour to escape and air to flow through. As a result, the bag can be compressed effectively without the contents becoming soggy. The airtight roll-top closure fastened with two Field Repair Buckles and waterproof taped seams provide additional protection against moisture.

Allows for effective compression of soft equipment, reducing its bulk. The model features two compression straps with buckles to eliminate bulges. The sturdy handle on the bottom makes it easy to carry and secure the bag to your gear.

    I got tired of struggling to get all of the air out of my dry bags which is very difficult. I own the 5L pack which is excellent size for spare clothing and I have the 20L version which I can fit my Carinthia Defence 4 into. The pack allows you to compress the stored items to a very small size meaning you can be more efficient if you're limited with pack storage space.
