A good and convenient set with a filter which, according to the manufacturer, can last a lifetime with proper use. It copes very well with water from rivers, marshes, and streams. I haven't needed to filter water from puddles yet, but it should be able to handle that too. With very murky water, it’s worth using the Helikon filtering bag first to avoid clogging the filter. I rate the filter itself very positively – you can buy it separately and choose the rest of the set yourself, which allows you to save money.

The set from Sawyer allows to filter 378,000 liters of water without any loss of filtration performance, and the filter material used in the filter (Hollow Fiber) protects against the entry of all kinds of microorganisms larger than 0.1 microns into the water (including salmonella bacteria, cholera, E coli), all protozoa (such as giardia and cryptosporidium), and removes 100% of microplastics. The filter's protection efficiency is 99.99999%!
The included bag is equipped with a handle that allows the tank to be attached to a tree, on the back of a backpack or held in the hand. Another advantage of the Sawyer system is the large opening for easy filling and cleaning. The Sawyer One Gallon Gravity System water filter allows you to filter 3.78 liters of water in just 7 minutes. The bag can be rolled up and stored in a backpack, for example.

The Sawyer One Gallon Gravity System is a real breakthrough for those staying out in nature. It is very easy to use and filters water extremely effectively, removing almost all bacteria and protozoa. The large tank allows you to quickly prepare enough clean water for the whole group, so I'm not worried about running out of fresh water even in remote places. The system is lightweight, takes up little space, and its sturdiness gives confidence in every situation. Additionally, you don’t need to pump or use chemicals – just hang the bag and wait for gravity to filter the water. It’s an excellent choice for active people, travellers, and families during camping. It combines reliability, simplicity, and the highest level of filtration, which makes it, in my opinion, the best product on the market!

I bought it mainly with emergency situations in mind, when access to water is crucial, and a smaller filter is less efficient than a larger model. It also takes up less space than a pack of bottled water.
