Savotta Varjelus PALS Placard Panel - MultiCam
Front panel in MultiCam camouflage, designed for mounting on the Varjelus tactical vest by Savotta. The construction is equipped with 4 rows of PALS webbing, allowing stable attachment of selected pieces of MOLLE-compatible accoutrement.
The panel measures 25 x 20 cm and weighs only 105 g. The low weight reduces the load on the vest, and the webbing layout allows you to adjust the placement of pouches and carriers to the selected configuration.
durable 500D Cordura and polyamide webbing
The panel is made from 500D Cordura, a polyamide fabric with high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and intensive use. The material retains proper rigidity, so the panel keeps its shape when mounting pouches and other modules.
The PALS webbing is made of 100% polyamide. It creates mounting points for compatible equipment. The webbing is sewn to the base material in a way that ensures stable retention of accessories.
Reduced visibility in infrared
The model stands out for properties that reduce the signature in the NIR range, meaning near infrared. The materials, dyes, and finishing process used were selected to reduce the difference in infrared radiation reflection between the surface of the equipment and the surroundings.
The reduced contrast can make it harder to quickly identify the equipment during observation carried out with night vision.
PALS webbing layout
The panel is equipped with 6 columns and 4 rows of PALS webbing. The height of 4 rows was chosen with AK pouches in mind, as they usually take up more space than models designed for AR-15 magazines.
The taller panel prevents a situation in which the lower part of an AK pouch protrudes below the edge. At the same time, the design remains compatible with lower pouches for AR-15 magazines.
stable attachment to the tactical vest
The back of the panel is equipped with elements that allow quick and stable mounting on the tactical vest. Low-profile G-hook hooks and velcro attachment are used. The hooks support the upper part of the panel, while the velcro stabilises it on the surface of the vest. The combination of both solutions limits module shifting during movement and enables quick detachment.
The G-hook hooks are attached using durable webbing. If needed, they can be replaced with Side Release quick-release buckles. The side loops allow the use of split QR buckles and quick-release systems such as Tubes and ROC.
grip tabs in the corners
Grip tabs are placed in the lower corners. They make it easier to detach the panel, open the velcro attachment, and stabilise the module during putting on and taking off.

multicam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior programme. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on green tones in forested terrain or brown and beige tones in desert regions - in the environment of Central and Eastern Europe, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the British Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.
Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula which, since 1955, has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field kit for the military, rescue services and people who value time in the field. The brand's kit has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the rigorous standards required of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-tier materials such as Cordura, and almost all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider instant adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE-compatible attachment points. Every design is created in Finland, and all manufacturing remains within the borders of the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was manufactured, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
