Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula which, since 1955, has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field kit for the military, rescue services and people who value time in the field. The brand's kit has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the rigorous standards required of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-tier materials such as Cordura, and almost all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider instant adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE-compatible attachment points. Every design is created in Finland, and all manufacturing remains within the borders of the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was manufactured, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.
