Useful little pouch while it is supposed to be a grenade or smoke pouch its actually got multiple uses thanks to the fact it can be resized easily. I have used mine to store a garmin inreach device. As with all Savotta products the build quality is excellent.
Savotta Frag Smoke Pouch - Brown
Brown-colored pouch designed for carrying grenades (fragmentation, smoke) and other small gear. Suitable for both tactical and outdoor use, offering high versatility. Made from durable 1000D Cordura and polyester webbing, ensuring excellent resistance to damage and long-lasting performance.
1000D Cordura construction, NIR
The construction is based on a single cross-shaped panel, which, thanks to velcro fasteners, allows for a wide range of adjustment. This design enables adaptation to various types of grenades, flashbangs, and even small radios, without the need for rigid compartments. 1000D Cordura fabric is highly resistant to abrasion and harsh field conditions. The material meets NIR (Near Infrared) requirements, meaning reduced visibility in the infrared spectrum.
Closure and content protection
The pouch is secured with a flap and SR buckle, along with additional velcro fastening, ensuring reliable retention of contents. Notable features include open bottom corners for water drainage and upper “wings” that help protect the contents from dirt. The pouch dimensions are 9 x 12 x 1 cm.
Mounting system and MOLLE/PALS compatibility
The model features a PALS/MOLLE compatible mounting system, allowing secure attachment to tactical vests, belts, or backpacks. Additionally, the design allows webbing to be threaded in a way that enables mounting directly onto belts with a width of 45–50 mm. This makes the pouch compatible with a wide range of modern load-bearing systems and effective in various gear configurations.

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.
Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula which, since 1955, has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field kit for the military, rescue services and people who value time in the field. The brand's kit has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the rigorous standards required of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-tier materials such as Cordura, and almost all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider instant adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE-compatible attachment points. Every design is created in Finland, and all manufacturing remains within the borders of the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was manufactured, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
