Red Dot One Patriot RX T-comfort: -5 deg. C Sleeping Bag - Olive

Winter sleeping bag in olive shade, with a mummy-style design, allowing comfortable body positioning and unlimited freedom of movement during sleep. It is made from durable polyester, and its lower part provides waterproofing at a level of 12000 mm/m2. The interior of the sleeping bag utilises RX Alu technology, based on a reflective layer that reflects the body-generated heat, significantly enhancing thermal comfort.

Sleeping bag use temperatures according to EN 13537:

• T-comfort: -5 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
• T-limit: -12 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
• T-extreme: -33 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which one can survive in a sleeping bag. This is not the recommended value for standard use.

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of polyester, providing resistance to mechanical damage and abrasions. The interior features a soft brushed polyester lining, ensuring thermal comfort and user convenience with its flannel-like texture. The lower part of the sleeping bag has increased waterproofing at a level of 12000 mm/m2, effectively protecting against ground moisture and morning dew.

The filling of the sleeping bag consists of synthetic polyester microfiber with a delicate fibre structure, creating an effective layer of thermal insulation at a low weight. The material maintains insulating properties in heightened humidity, limits water absorption, and allows for quick drying, enhancing comfort during use in the field. The insulation system is supported by RX Alu technology, utilising a reflective layer to bounce back body heat, increasing thermal efficiency by approximately 15% without increasing the filling volume.

The ergonomic design of the sleeping bag ensures comfort during use. Profiled foot area and expanded space around the chest and hips increase comfort during sleep. The sleeping bag weighs 2150 grams and when compressed measures 24 x 33 cm, allowing for convenient carrying in a hiking backpack or larger bag. An internal pocket allows for storing small items, and four elastic stabilising loops enable the sleeping bag to be secured on uneven or sloping terrain.

The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zip with a thermal strip that prevents heat loss and zip snagging. Additionally, a glow-in-the-dark zip puller is used, facilitating use in limited visibility. The adjustable hood fits the user and reduces heat loss. The drawstrings of the hood and collar are of different thicknesses, making them easy to handle without the need to use sight. A Velcro panel in the foot area and on top of the sleeping bag is intended for user identification or mounting reflective elements.
