Quest Xpointer Land Metal Detector - Black

Handheld pointer-type metal detector designed for quickly locating metal objects in soil, sand, and under water. It meets the requirements of the IPX7 standard, which means protection against immersion in water for 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 metre. The detector is powered by one standard 9 V battery (not included).

The durable black ABS plastic housing protects the electronic system against mechanical damage and weather conditions.

The device allows sensitivity to be set on a 4-level scale, making it possible to match the pinpointer's operation to the type of ground and the nature of the search.

Depending on environmental conditions or personal preferences, the detector can signal object detection in one of three modes:

• audible
• vibration
• audible and vibration simultaneously

Signal intensity increases as you get closer to the target, making it easier to pinpoint its exact location.

The detector operates at a frequency of 95 kHz, enabling precise location of metal objects both under water and on land. The 360-degree detection range clearly makes it easier to locate the object, while moving the tip horizontally allows a larger area to be scanned in less time.

The model is equipped with a built-in LED torch that makes it easier to locate objects under water and in limited-visibility conditions. A ruler in inches is placed on the housing, useful when estimating the size of finds.
