ProTek PT4109SFC USMC Carbon Dive Watch

Wristwatch with an analogue dial housed in a lightweight yet robust watchcase. The design is intended for use in aquatic environments, making the model highly suitable for diving. Water resistance at 30 atmospheres (300 m) enables safe underwater use, even at greater depths.

The watch features additional functions such as a stopwatch and Pro-Glo T100 illumination, expanding its range of applications. It is equipped with a Japanese Citizen (Miyota) 2035 quartz movement, ensuring stable operation, high precision timekeeping, and low power consumption, resulting in a long lifespan (up to 4 years) on a single battery.

The watch movement is enclosed within a watchcase with a 45 mm diameter, made from lightweight carbon composite, characterised by high resistance to damage while maintaining a low weight. A screw-down crown manufactured from 316L stainless steel and equipped with a multi-ring gasket system, together with a steel caseback, ensure high water resistance. The entire unit achieves a water resistance of 300 meters (30 ATM), allowing for safe use while diving.

The model features a unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-click mechanism, allowing precise time measurement even underwater. The bezel includes clear minute markings (every 10 units). The dial is protected by high-grade sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating, reducing light reflections and enhancing readability in various lighting conditions.

At the 12 o'clock position, a highlighted marker includes both an index on the dial and a point of reference on the diving bezel. This solution facilitates quick setting of the reference time and improves legibility of the indications, especially in limited visibility conditions.

The model includes a screw-down caseback crafted from high-grade 316L stainless steel, resulting in high water resistance. Its surface is adorned with the embossed emblem of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), along with the inscription “The Proud 250 Years of Uncommon Valor”, referencing the anniversary of the formation.

Timekeeping is managed by a Japanese Citizen (Miyota) Quartz 2035 movement with three hands. Developed for stable operational parameters, ensuring repeatable indications and high time measurement accuracy. The movement is characterised by low energy consumption, enabling prolonged operation on a single battery - up to approximately 4 years.

The watch employs a Swiss tritium illumination system, Pro-Glo T100, guaranteeing consistent visibility of the indications for a period of up to 25 years without requiring recharging with external light. The light is emitted from hermetically sealed microtubes filled with tritium, providing uniform continuous light regardless of ambient conditions.

The system does not require prior exposure to light, maintaining full functionality both in complete darkness and underwater. The high intensity of illumination facilitates quick reading of the indications, important during diving, night-time activities, and work in low visibility.

The watch features a black rubber strap with a width of 22 mm, ending with a steel buckle. The design is enhanced by a steel tube, through which the lugs pass, increasing durability and resistance to tearing. The strap fits well to the wrist, providing high wearing comfort and effectively preventing the watch from shifting.
