Protector Tech Sand Scoop for Sand Searching

The photo is misleading. The product is made of plastic. It works very well on loose sand at the beach. The square, thick handle becomes uncomfortable after two hours of searching on the beach. It is not suitable for wet or compacted sand—it is hard to push in. If it were metal or had a sharper front, it would work much better.

I use it at the seaside; it works great on dry sand.

It is larger than I expected, which I consider an advantage—I thought it would be smaller. It is sturdy and works well for searching in water.

Protector is a brand clearly associated with metal detecting. Their products are characterised by an excellent price-to-quality ratio, which is also evident with this scoop. Well-made from thick plastic, it is lightweight, handy, and has a comfortable grip for stable handling. The material is very good, and the scoop itself is really practical. It is ideal for both sand and soil.

A good scoop/shovel, you can easily dig up to 30 cm on the beach. I recommend it.
