Princeton Tec Apex Headlamp Black - 650 lumens

LED head torch equipped with a powerful Maxbright white diode and four adjustable Ultrabright diodes, offering a light beam with a maximum power of 650 lumens and a range of up to 120 metres. The lighting system allows for the use of both a focused long-range beam and wide light surrounding the space. The design has been crafted with outdoor conditions, trekking, survival, and fieldwork after dark in mind.

Torch casing in black and battery container made of durable plastic resistant to intensive use in challenging conditions. The construction meets IPX7 waterproof standards, allowing for submersion of the device in water up to a depth of 1 metre for a maximum of 30 minutes. Thanks to its high tightness, the torch is useful in rain or humid environments.

The torch offers five work modes, enabling adjustment of light intensity and character to prevailing conditions and type of activity. The operation is facilitated by two rubberised buttons located on the casing, allowing for quick switching between modes, even with gloves on.

The torch is equipped with a high-performance Maxbright white diode and four additional Ultrabright diodes. The Maxbright diode emits an intense spot light beam, allowing efficient illumination of distant objects and precise work in the dark. 4 Ultrabright diodes emit a diffused flood light, improving visibility while moving, working in the field, or performing tasks requiring a wide illumination field.

Due to the high light power, the model is equipped with a radiator responsible for efficient heat dissipation during operation. Additionally, an overheating protection system has been applied, which automatically adjusts the light intensity upon detecting excessive temperature. This solution increases user safety and protects torch components during prolonged work at high power.

The torch features a Regulated LED function, ensuring a constant brightness level during battery discharge. As a result, the light beam remains stable for most of the operating time. At the front of the casing is a 3-colour LED battery charge indicator, allowing for quick checking of energy levels without having to turn off the device.

A flexible strap ensures stable holding of the torch on the head, while providing comfort during prolonged use. The design adapts to the head's shape and limits the torch's movement during dynamic motion.

The torch is powered by four AA batteries - alkaline or lithium. The battery container can be opened without the use of additional tools thanks to specially shaped strap adjusters serving as a key to the battery compartment cover.
