The length of 2 metres and 15 centimetres makes this sheet perfect as protection for mattresses or self-inflating mats – for me, it’s number one. Personally, I also use it as an extra groundsheet for the Snugpak Stratosphere tent. When folded into a square, it takes up little space in the rucksack and is thinner than a classic Bundeswehr-style foam mat. Well made, it won’t get damaged after just a few uses. Rain doesn’t harm it – once it’s dry, it’s ready to use again for the next trip. The camo does raise the price a bit, but you can’t go into the woods without it ;) In my opinion, it’s the best sheet for camping – if you care about insulation from the ground, you should definitely buy it.
The tarp made of polyester characterised by resistance to tearing and fading. It has been covered with a waterproof PVC coating to protect it from getting wet and dirty.
A rubber layer on the bottom provides additional non-slip properties on smooth and wet surfaces. The simple design allows for quick folding and unfolding of the tarp.
Velcro strap allows for folding during transport or storage. Four loops sewn into the corners allow to attach it to the ground in uncertain weather conditions or on uneven terrain, and also to attach it to the backpack.

Great mat, very well made – perfect for inflatable mattresses, so you can sleep comfortably and without worrying about abrasions or damage. Solid and waterproof, a bit heavy, but it’s not an oilcloth! I definitely recommend it.

According to the label, this is an outdoor tarp. It is quite light and not very thick. For me, it will work as a replacement for a work jacket, which I use as a sleeping mat. When combined with a sleeping bag, it should provide comfortable sleeping conditions.
