The headlamp, as expected from the Petzl brand, is excellent; I have no complaints. However, I prefer to pay a bit more and choose the Core 2022 version – it has 150 more lumens, which sometimes comes in handy.

Compact head torch delivering maximum light output of 450 lumens and a beam range up to 100 meters. It operates in three white light modes and two red light modes. Two types of LEDs allow for focused or wide beam, depending on your needs.
Durable construction, IPX4 standard
Constructed from durable yet lightweight plastic. Thanks to sealing, it provides water resistance compliant with IPX4, protecting against splashes and light rain from any direction. The adjustable head enables precise beam angle control. Adjustable, elastic headband with reflective elements ensures comfortable wearing on the head or helmet.
Red and white light with wide or focused beam
The Actik head torch is equipped with three energy-efficient LEDs – two white and one red. The white LEDs offer the choice between diffused and focused light, depending on the surroundings. The red LED emits soft light that doesn’t interfere with night vision or dazzle the user. All modes are controlled with a single button. Lock function prevents accidental activation during transport.

Battery and rechargeable compatibility – Hybrid Concept

Petzl torches are a class of their own – they are reliable. This headlamp is very lightweight, so it’s really comfortable to wear and run with. The diffused light looks very good, and the focused beam is strong. An extra plus for being able to power it with both batteries and a rechargeable cell.

Great headlamp – it has three lighting modes and an additional red light. The mechanism preventing accidental activation is well thought-out. I definitely recommend it to everyone as everyday equipment.

This is already my second Petzl Actic headlamp. As for the quality of the illumination, everything is as expected. I deduct a point for the strap – one of the plastic fastening elements sometimes comes undone and is easy to lose.

The headlamp is solidly built and gives a good impression, not only at first glance. The strongest mode provides a fairly wide beam of light, which doesn't bother me. An advantage is the replaceable battery, though it’s a pity charging is via microUSB instead of the universal USB-C. It’s a good idea to buy an extra battery to supplement the set. The cover on the torch is a bit stiff to open, but thanks to the gasket, it ensures resistance to rain and other conditions, which has proven itself more than once.

Very good headlamp with three lighting modes and a red light. The protection against accidental switching on, for example when carrying it in a backpack, is very well designed.

Very good headlamp with a comfortable strap for wearing on your head. The emitted light is just right – it doesn’t dazzle but nicely illuminates everything around. Standard batteries last an acceptably long time.
