Pentagon UTA Anorak Jacket 2.0 - Maroon Red
UTA Anorak 2.0 is a comfortable hooded jacket in Maroon Red, made from durable Taslon nylon with a StormTex membrane, ensuring water resistance at a level of 5000 mm/m2 and breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h. The outer fabric is coated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) layer, protecting against moisture and dirt. The inside of the jacket is lined with soft fleece for added wearing comfort.
Partial opening, chin guard, velcro panel
The zipper used for partially unzipping the jacket ends with a stand-up collar, protecting the neck from wind penetration. Side zippers make it easier to put on and take off the jacket and improve ventilation. The zippers are secured with snaps to prevent accidental unzipping. Fully taped seams make this model suitable for rainy weather.
On the right shoulder, there is a velcro panel (hook and loop) that allows attachment of various emblems, like a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, letting you give the jacket a personal touch.
Adjustable hood and cuffs
Hood with 3-point adjustment effectively protects the head from precipitation. Velcro adjustable cuffs allow the sleeves to be adjusted to the user's wrists.

Velcro
The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
StormTex
The three-layer nylon membrane, which provides high breathability and water resistance, allows moisture formed on the skin to evaporate during exertion, while protecting against soaking during harsh weather conditions.
DWR
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
Taslon
Taslon is a type of durable synthetic fabric, usually made from nylon fibers. The material is characterized by a dense weave, matte finish and wind and abrasion resistance. Taslon is often used in outdoor, work and military clothing, especially as an outer layer.

Excellent anorak – warm but not too thick, with underarm zips for ventilation, offers great protection from the rain and has a convenient through pocket. The stitching is neat. The fleece lining on the shoulders is a bit bothersome when putting the jacket on over a rough jumper – it doesn't settle as easily then. But overall, it's fantastic. I'm 178 cm tall with a regular build, chose size XL; it's slightly loose and I can put the jacket on over my head without unzipping the sides. There seem to be two options for adjusting the hood at the back: with a strap and buckle or with a drawstring – I recommend the latter.

I've just received a great jacket. The fleece is very pleasant to the touch. It's fantastic that the side zips can be opened from the top or bottom, which makes it easy to reach your holster quickly. I'm 181 cm tall and weigh 88 kg; size L fits perfectly.
