Pentagon Tac Maven Nemea Gun Pouch 2.0 – Black is a useful and well-made product that is suitable for everyday use as well as for more demanding tasks. The sturdy material withstands intensive use without abrasion. The pocket layout is well thought out – you can conveniently organise small items, documents or a phone. The biggest advantage is quick access to the main compartment, which allows you to discreetly and safely carry a firearm or equipment. The zip works smoothly and one-handed access is no problem. The adjustable strap keeps the bag stable even while moving. The black colour makes it match both civilian and tactical clothing. Functionality combined with a professional appearance.

My opinion is less positive than that of previous users. There are quite a few downsides, it's hard to say where to start. The small pockets have a zip that opens upwards and lack a double zip, so when opened items easily fall out. The buckle is only on the left side and can't be moved. The material is fine, but there are many threads sticking out that need cutting or burning off. The cord for quickly opening the main pocket is too short and needs replacing – which I did. Finally – the price, which with these faults is definitely too high. If I hadn't used the bag and thrown away the tag, I would have returned it and bought a similar one much cheaper on AliExpress.

The bag is more functional than the seller presents – it is suitable for both right- and left-handed people. The front pocket fits a large wallet, and the back one easily holds a phone. The only thing missing is double zips in the side pockets. There's enough space for a compact gun and a Taser Pulse, and a Glock 17 fits snugly. The strap could be a bit wider, but that's acceptable.
