Two compartments, two pockets

The backpack has two main compartments closed with two-way zips. The front panel features two smaller zipped pockets designed for carrying accessories and small items.

The Tac Maven Assault model features traditional MOLLE/PALS webbing on the front pockets. There is also a Velcro panel on the front that allows you to attach patches or Morale Patches.

Thanks to the side compression straps - two on each side - you can adjust the backpack’s external dimensions depending on the amount of gear you’re carrying. Shortening the straps flattens the backpack when the main compartment is empty and the smaller pockets are full, which increases stability while moving. The compression straps can also be used to secure additional gear, such as a jacket, sleeping pad, camping tarp, or sleeping bag.

The Tac Maven Assault model includes traditional MOLLE/PALS straps placed on the front pockets. Additionally, there is a velcro panel on the front, which allows you to attach patches or emblems like Morale Patches.

    Bought for an evacuation bag. Good capacity and very useful thanks to its many large pockets. It looks small, but a lot of things fit inside. Nice surprise: a strap under the bag for attaching a sleeping mat, which was not mentioned in the description. One point for improvement is the thin, asymmetrical hip strap — either a part is missing or it is a questionable design choice. The fabric, stitching, and zip are more robust than on my Ares 40L, which has no hip strap and too many pockets, with less durable materials. Satisfied with the brand and the purchase.
