Pentagon Nestor 2.5 Tactical Fleece Fleece - Black

Fleece in black, a modernised version of the Nestor model. Designed for users who need a warm, breathable and durable outer layer in a uniform style. The monochromatic construction makes it easier to pair the fleece with duty clothing and subdued-colour equipment used by soldiers, officers and security personnel.

The sweatshirt can be worn on its own in milder weather or used as a mid layer under a jacket in lower temperatures. Compatibility with the MJC system allows it to be combined with selected Pentagon jackets, creating a cohesive clothing set suited to current weather conditions and the type of activity.

Warmth retention is provided by soft polyester fleece with a 320 g/m2 grammage. The fibre structure creates microscopic air spaces that trap heat generated by the body. This solution provides effective protection against the cold while maintaining a relatively low weight.

The knit fabric used stands out for its high CLO rating, which defines the garment's level of thermal insulation. This parameter indicates a favourable ratio of thermal protection to material weight.

The open fabric structure supports air exchange and the release of excess heat and moisture to the outside. This helps reduce overheating during movement and increases comfort during extended wear. The material dries quickly, which matters during field activities, long hours of duty and use in a layering system.

The fleece is equipped with 6 practical pockets:

The pocket layout makes equipment organisation easier and allows carried small items to be conveniently separated.

The front of the fleece is equipped with a full-length zip. It allows the sweatshirt to be put on and taken off quickly, while also enabling ventilation adjustment. The high collar protects the neck from the cold and limits the inflow of cold air from above. When zipped up, the fleece creates an additional insulating layer around the back of the neck.

The sleeve cuffs feature adjustment that allows their circumference to be changed. A better fit reduces sleeve ride-up and limits cold air entering around the wrists. The adjustment also makes it easier to combine the fleece with gloves and an outer jacket.

The bottom edge is finished with fitted material that helps keep the fleece close to the torso. This reduces the sweatshirt from riding up during movement, bending and work in various positions. The fitted lower finish also supports warmth retention.

Flat seams increase comfort when wearing the fleece under a vest, jacket or duty clothing. Flat stitching reduces the risk of chafing and helps maintain even material contact. The shoulders of the sweatshirt feature velcro panels for attaching patches, emblems and selected identification markings.

The Nestor 2.5 model is fully compatible with the MJC (Multiple Jackets Compatibility) system, which allows selected Pentagon clothing layers to be connected using appropriate zips, attachment points and mounting points.

After integration with a compatible outer jacket, the fleece can serve as an insulating layer. MJC makes it easier to adapt the configuration to the temperature and weather conditions. The fleece can be used on its own or combined with a suitable outer layer.
