Very good headphones. I tested them at an indoor shooting range with both pistol and rifle. They effectively dampen noise and conversations are clearly audible. They cut out the sounds during shots so you can't have a conversation, but at least you don't get a headache, as was the case with popular Sport Impact headphones, which did not suit me.

Active hearing protectors designed for shooting sports, providing advanced noise protection. Thanks to their special design, external audio devices can be connected, and the attenuation level can be adjusted. Equipped with microphones, they enhance the surrounding sound. When the noise exceeds 85 dB, the system automatically switches off the microphones, reducing harmful sounds.
The SportTac system amplifies sounds below 85 dB, allowing better hearing of the surroundings compared to using hearing protection without amplification. Additionally, the volume control function allows you to adjust the audibility of conversations and sounds according to the surrounding conditions. The electronic circuit eliminates unwanted crackling, and the smooth system ensures sound stability without sudden volume changes.
The hearing protectors are powered by two AAA batteries housed in a single compartment. Thanks to the built-in energy-saving system, the device automatically turns off after two hours of inactivity. Additionally, the system remembers the last volume settings and notifies when the batteries need to be replaced. With one set of batteries, the device works for up to 600 hours.
The function is controlled using three large buttons. The lower part of the protectors has a specially contoured shape, providing comfort while shooting. The wide, well-insulated ear cushions are easy to clean, and the contoured headband evenly distributes pressure, making the protectors comfortable to wear for long hours. The telescoping design allows individual adjustment of the protectors to the shooter’s head.
The set includes additional ear cushions in two colors.

Very good headphones. I used them at an indoor shooting range with both a pistol and a rifle. They effectively dampen noise, and speech is very clear. If someone shoots, the sounds are cut out, which protects against headaches – something I experienced with the Sport Impact model, which in my opinion does not work well.

I have been using Peltor SportTac headphones at the shooting range for a year and a half and I am very satisfied – the noise reduction system allows you to talk without taking them off your ears, which improves safety because it is easier to hear important instructions. I still haven't changed the batteries; they use very little energy, which is a great advantage. You can also connect an external sound source, such as a radio or phone.
