3M Peltor SportTac Active Hearing Protectors - Red/Black

Active hearing protectors designed for shooting sports enthusiasts. They provide high-level noise protection, and their design allows for the connection of external audio devices as well as adjustment of the noise reduction level. Built-in microphones enhance the perception of surrounding sounds, and when the threshold of 85 dB is exceeded, the system automatically turns them off, reducing harmful noise intensity.

The SportTac technology amplifies sounds below 85 dB, allowing better reception of environmental signals compared to situations without hearing protection. Additionally, a volume control function is available, allowing the adjustment of sound and conversation audibility to the prevailing conditions. The advanced electronic system eliminates unwanted crackles, and the smooth sound reproduction system prevents sudden volume changes.

The device is powered by two AAA batteries, placed in a single cup. The built-in energy-saving system automatically turns off the device after two hours of inactivity. Additionally, the last volume settings are saved, and the system alerts when the batteries need to be replaced. One set of batteries provides up to 600 hours of operation.

All functions are controlled by three large buttons. The lower part of the protectors has been shaped to increase comfort while shooting. The wide, well-insulating cushions are easy to clean, and the molded headband evenly distributes pressure, ensuring comfort even during extended use. The adjustable design allows for precise fitting of the protectors to the shape of the head.

The package includes additional ear pads in two color variants.
