I've recently been using rechargeable batteries for toys that require a lot of energy. Compared to ordinary batteries, they perform much better. It's definitely more cost-effective to invest in these with a charger than to keep buying disposable ones.

A set of two Ni-MH AA rechargeable batteries from the Pro series, retaining 85% of capacity after one year.
The technology used guarantees stable operation at low temperatures of -20 degrees C, to which standard rechargeable batteries and AA batteries are not resistant.
The rated voltage of one rechargeable battery is 1.2V, while the batteries are compatible with devices requiring batteries with a rated voltage of 1.5V. The cells have a high capacity of 2500 mAh.
Eneloop batteries can be charged in standard Ni-Mh battery chargers, as well as in our recommended Olight Omni-Dok universal chargers.
The batteries are pre-charged with solar power and ready for use right out of the box.
