Omegon Seastar 7x50 Binoculars with compass

Binoculars designed for use on water and in difficult weather conditions, equipped with a 50 mm objective lens diameter and 7x fixed magnification. The model has a built-in analogue compass, which is visible in the field of view, as well as Porro BaK-4 prisms. The lenses are coated with multi-coated MC and filled with nitrogen, making the construction waterproof and fog-proof. The binoculars are unsinkable, and thanks to a durable rubber coating, they are also resistant to mechanical damage and provide a secure grip in various conditions. A 7.1 mm diameter exit pupil allows for effective use of available light, making the binoculars ideal for observation at dawn, dusk, and on cloudy days.

The binoculars' body is hermetically sealed and filled with nitrogen, effectively protecting the optics from moisture and fogging. The construction floats on water, enhancing safety during cruises. The housing is covered with an anti-slip rubber coating providing protection and cushioning. The model features a convenient central focus adjustment mechanism, allowing quick adaptation for observing various objects. Twist-up eyecups increase comfort and help maintain the correct eye position relative to the eyepiece. Dioptre adjustment on the right eyepiece allows image customisation to individual needs. The binoculars are suitable for tripod mounting thanks to a standard 1/4" thread, using the appropriate adapter.

High-quality Porro prisms made of barium-crown glass BaK-4 are characterised by a high refractive index, allowing for a bright, well-contrasted image with minimal chromatic aberration. Thanks to excellent light transmission, these prisms are particularly useful in low light conditions. The lenses and eyepieces have multi-coated anti-reflective MC coatings, which reduce light loss and eliminate unwanted reflections, ensuring high contrast, natural colours, and optimal image clarity.

The Seastar model uses an integrated analogue compass visible directly in the field of view. It facilitates quick navigation without the need for additional devices. A built-in reticle allows for distance estimation to observed objects, which is particularly useful during sailing and navigation near shores.

The set includes a synthtic material case, resistant to abrasion and moisture, effectively protecting the binoculars during transport and storage. Additionally, the binoculars have an adjustable neck strap for comfortable carrying during field observations.
