Omegon Monostar ED 8x32 Monocular

Monocular fitted with a 32 mm objective lens and a fixed 8x magnification. The model features a roof prism system made of BaK-4 glass, which ensures a compact, short design and high light transmission, allowing for a bright and clear image even when observing distant objects. The durable body, sealed with O-rings, is splash-proof and designed to withstand changing weather conditions.

The monocular design is based on a compact Roof construction, which ensures a slim and compact profile. The body has been sealed with O-rings, guaranteeing splash resistance. The ergonomically-optimised design provides better grip properties even when used with gloves. The model has an adjustable eyecup, allowing use by people who wear glasses.

The model is equipped with an optical system based on BaK-4 prisms, made from Barium Crown glass containing barium oxide. These prisms are characterised by a high refractive index, which allows for a distinct, bright, and high-contrast image with minimal chromatic aberration. Thanks to their high light transmission, the prisms work well in low-light conditions. The anti-reflective Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) coating minimises light reflections on the lens surface.

The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses used in the model offer a clearer and sharper image and better colour reproduction, particularly at the edges of the field of view and when observing high-contrast objects.

The set includes a case made of durable synthetic material, resistant to abrasions and moisture, which effectively protects the binoculars during transport and storage. An adjustable wrist strap is also included.
