Njord Alvaldi Forged Cutlery Set

A practical set consisting of a forged blacksmith knife and a simple, single-pronged fork. It was inspired by authentic archaeological finds from the Viking era. The entire set is made of carbon steel.

Forged carbon steel with a hardness of 57 hRc

The knife with a Clip Point blade and the fork have been hand-forged from carbon steel hardened to 57 HRC, which ensures durability and resistance to wear. The distinctive, raw style is emphasised by clear forging marks (brut de forge).

Leather sheath with strap for attachment

The durable sheath made of brown leather is equipped with a strap that allows for easy attachment to a belt or other accoutrements.

    Excellent cutlery. Solid steel and an aesthetic finish make them very pleasing to the eye. They arrive carefully packaged, with an additional leather case. I am satisfied with them and can recommend them.

    They look attractive, which is their biggest advantage. Use is possible, although it requires a bit of effort, especially when using the fork. The knife is not particularly sharp even when new, and its edge is somewhat asymmetrical. The steel turns out to be very hard, making sharpening not the easiest, but you can achieve a satisfactory sharpness. The quality is appropriate for the price, I don't regret the purchase – it's an interesting gadget.
