Nikwax waterproof clothing care set includes Nikwax Tech Wash – a specialised cleaning agent for technical garments – and Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In – a waterproofing treatment that restores and enhances fabric water-repellency.

Both products are non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally safe; they contain no fluorocarbons.

Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In is intended for waterproofing garments with membranes such as Gore-Tex, SympaTex, eVent and similar, which have no lining. It boosts water-repellent performance, refreshes breathability and helps moisture wick away. It can be applied to damp clothing, simplifying the process and shortening preparation time before re-use.

Before waterproofing, wash the garment with Nikwax Tech Wash.

Tech Wash is a water-based cleaner for washing technical and waterproof clothing. It effectively removes dirt, including sweat residues and detergent build-up that can block membrane pores and reduce performance.

The product does not compromise the breathable or water-repellent properties of fabrics, making it ideal for routine care of membrane garments such as Gore-Tex, SympaTex or eVent. It is safe for all fabric types, including technical materials used in outdoor, sports and work apparel.
