Mil-Tec Winter Faux-Fur Hat - Olive

Very well tailored and genuinely warm winter hat. In my opinion, it looks quite nice. The only downside is poor ventilation, so your head sweats quickly.

Fits much better than my previous trapper hat of a different cut, which I bought elsewhere. I measured my head in both cases; the other one fell off, but this is perfect. It protects against frost and wind; it's hard to assess water resistance as it doesn't rain at -10°C, but this hat dries faster than a wool one. Even the smaller ear flaps make a difference, whether raised or lowered.

The hat looks great, is warm and comfortable. You can wear it fastened or unfastened. The size is perfect, and the shipping was express – I ordered yesterday, received it at 12:00. I recommend it, there's nothing to think about – it's worth buying.

Great military style hat. It works best at temperatures below zero, when normal hats are no longer enough. The minimalist design looks good. The inside is pleasant to the touch.

The hat is great. It protects your ears from the cold very well. Once you put it on, you barely feel it. The fastening sometimes loosens, but just pull one cord to fix it. I wholeheartedly recommend it. I feel like I'm living in Moscow when I wear it, although I'm not sure if that's what I wanted.

I confirm the previous opinions about the sizing – it fully matches the table. I disagree with the negative assessment of the makeshift fastening; maybe someone got a faulty piece. I have no problems. The colour of the fur on the black version is really nice. I'm waiting for sub-zero temperatures to test it at work. Personally, I don't like lifting and fastening the ear flaps for thermal regulation – then I look like a rider from Genghis Khan's army ;) I recommend it to anyone who has sinus problems in the winter.

This is one of the first hats my teenager chose and wears without objection, and he was also pleased with the comfort of use.

This is already my second such hat I have bought recently – my grandson was very envious of the first one after his branded wool hat became unusable when he returned from the gym in sleet. I had no choice. For the next 10 days, he daily reported how the hat performed at school and how much envy it aroused. To sum up – the hat is waterproof, very warm and looks nice. The only downside is the fastening, which needs to be sewn onto the strap yourself, otherwise it comes undone. A shame, because the hat can be fastened in three ways: under the chin, at the back of the head and on top, but each position requires a different strap length. Sewing on the fastening makes this impossible.

Very good hat. Warm, waterproof and impressive looking. The sizing is ideal. The only downside is the terrible fastening of the strap – it has to be sewn on straight away, as the snap only holds when fastened and tightened. If the straps hang loosely, the snap may come undone under its own weight and get lost. I had a similar, more primitive, military trapper hat while on Antarctica – this one from Mil-Tec is warmer, waterproof, and looks nicer, but the old one had better, longer tying straps. In any case, both I and my grandson, who immediately wanted the same one, highly recommend it. And the photos on the site don't do it justice – I’m attaching my own.

The XL size hat fits perfectly. It is very warm. The ear flaps can be worn either down or fastened above the head. The ear warmers have loops, so you can lower them over your ears or fasten them above your ear.
