Mil-Tec Wet Weather 3-Layer Laminate Waterproof Jacket - Woodland

Waterproof jacket sewn from a three-layer laminate that provides effective protection against wind and water. At the same time, the fabric is vapor-permeable, which reduces the risk of overheating during activities that require increased effort.

The outer layer of the jacket is made of 96% polyester with 4% elastane. A breathable polyurethane membrane is placed inside.

The main zipper is two-way, additionally protected by a Velcro-fastened strip, which ensures better temperature maintenance under the jacket and protects against wind penetration. The strip also prevents the zipper from blocking due to dirt buildup, or even freezing water or snow clumping on it.

Underarm vents allow for increased airflow, which facilitates thermoregulation during activity. A reinforced material has been sewn on the elbows to protect these areas from abrasion. The jacket is equipped with two capacious side pockets closed with press studs and one Velcro-fastened shoulder pocket.

The retractable, deep hood is equipped with a visor to protect the wearer from driving rain. The drawstrings allow the hood to be made tighter.

The cuffs are adjustable with a Velcro-fastened patch, which allows size adjustment. The jacket is also adjustable at the waist.

Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, which provide good camouflage and deformation properties, especially in wooded areas. Thanks to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has spawned numerous variations that have found their way into over 60 uniform formations around the world. The pattern has also had a huge impact on popular culture, shifting from military applications to everyday fashion.
