Mil-Tec US Style M65 Children's Jacket - Woodland

Year-round children's jacket in Woodland camouflage based on the iconic M65 model. Equipped with a detachable liner, hood hidden in the collar, 4 pockets (two on the chest and two at the waist), and epaulettes on the shoulders.

The M65 model was used by the American army since the Vietnam War and has become a true legend - it is practical, comfortable, spacious, and durable. It gained recognition worldwide, often appearing in films and series as part of the wardrobe of characters played by actors like Sylvester Stallone in "Rambo", Robert De Niro in "Taxi Driver", and Bronisław Cieślak in "07 zgłoś się".

The fabric used for production, a combination of polyester (65%) and cotton (35%), is characterized by high tear resistance and protection against light rain. The inner layer is a cotton lining and includes an attached detachable Thermo Liner with synthetic filling weighing 170 g/m2. This makes the jacket suitable for year-round wear. The liner is stabilized with buttons for greater comfort for the child. Velcro adjustable cuffs and a drawstring at the waist provide additional protection against the cold.

The M65 model fastens with a zip, which can be secured with a windproof strip, improving the jacket's thermal insulation and protecting against strong wind penetrating through the zip. The strip also minimizes the risk of the zip being obstructed by dirt, dust, sand, and prevents water from freezing on it or snow from compacting.

Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, which provide good camouflage and deformation properties, especially in wooded areas. Thanks to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has spawned numerous variations that have found their way into over 60 uniform formations around the world. The pattern has also had a huge impact on popular culture, shifting from military applications to everyday fashion.
