Unfortunately, the product did not prove effective. The stability of the mug on this stand is almost nonexistent, and the metal plate can be bent accidentally very easily. The fit with the mug also leaves much to be desired, and after assembly the whole thing is about 1 cm higher. On the plus side, the price is attractive and the construction is lightweight.

A lightweight stove in a form of a cup stand designed for the US GI Canteen cup from Mil-Tec. It was made of lightweight and durable aluminum. It allows you to boil water or prepare a meal in field conditions.
A spirit burner, solid or gel fuel and alternative fuel (such as wood, conifer needles, leaves, straw or paper) can be placed in the stand as a fire source. Thanks to its design, the stove does not take up much space and is perfect for hiking trips, excursions, canoeing or camping.
The set does not include a cup.

The product serves its purpose and fits into the aluminium mug insert from a 1QT US canteen, although it is difficult to place there – but it does fit. When standing upright, you can easily place a classic brass spirit stove with a diameter of about 7 cm inside. It's worth placing the mug sideways on this base, but in any case it's an economical and effective solution for an improvised stand when making coffee in the morning after a party.
