Mil-Tec Spirit Stove

Brass alcohol camping stove designed for quick and convenient preparation of hot meals in outdoor conditions. Once the burner is filled with alcohol, such as spirit, the liquid is absorbed by the hygroscopic fabric inside. Alcohol stoves are known for their lightweight construction and nearly silent operation.

Compact dimensions and cap with seal

This compact and lightweight device is equipped with a sealed screw cap that prevents fuel evaporation. Heating 250 ml of water takes about 8 minutes. The tank capacity is 20 ml, which allows for approximately 15 minutes of operation.

    Great camping stove – for me, it’s the best choice. It’s exceptionally light, compact, has a simple design and there are no issues with leaks. Additionally, unlike gas models, it’s very quiet – you can hardly hear the flame at all. You can use various types of alcohol, biofireplace fuel and other fuels, which makes it suitable for many situations. The downside is its lower efficiency during cold days, so I especially recommend it from spring to autumn, particularly in summer. For me, it’s brilliant!

    There’s really nothing to complain about — this is a very good burner. It works with many types of alcohol, as well as with fuel for bio fireplaces. Between the walls there is an absorbent insert which, after the alcohol is poured in, causes it to evaporate through the openings and then burn.

    My previous burner from Polsport cracked and I had to replace it. The new Milltec burner is made from slightly thinner sheet metal, but what's important is that it does its job. Nothing leaks and the spirit burns evenly. I boiled a kettle with a litre of water in a few minutes.

There really is a material between the walls that absorbs the alcohol, which is then released through the holes and burned. I recommend buying an appropriate stand for this stove and a wind shield. The thread works flawlessly and is easy to tighten. The seal is effective, although it is still better to transport alcohol separately.

    Nice working stove. Compact and steady Great if you wanna stay stealth mode and/or can’t make a fire. I use bio ethanol and it gives a good flame. I’m a couple of minutes a hot brew.

    Unfortunately, this is already the second stove after replacement/complaint and the same problem still occurs – the fuel leaks during transport, even with the lid screwed on tight. Overall, it works fine and heats, simple construction, but it’s a shame it leaks when carried.

    Simple, lightweight and efficient burner for a low price. You can use various fuels, it boils water quickly, although it’s best in spring and summer. You can buy a dedicated stand or put your pot on stones. A windscreen is useful because the flame goes out easily without one. The biggest advantages are low weight, simplicity, small size, fuel universality, low price and quiet flame compared to gas equivalents.
