I really like this model of entrenching tool. It's well made, the cover is durable and has holes for draining water. The tool is very versatile and can even be used for self-defence. When folded, it doesn't take up much space, can be transported easily, and at the same time is light and sturdy.

A folding shovel with a durable carbon steel head and an aluminum tang and shaft. The metal parts have been treated with a protective coating to protect them from corrosion.
The design allows the tool to be folded for transport and reduce its length from 60 to 24.5 cm. The ability to lock the head in the half-open position allows the shovel to be used as a hoe.

I agree that this entrenching tool is really solid – it's worth adding those extra 30-40 PLN to get a proper steel shovel, not some plastic toy. Personally, I prefer fabric holsters, but that's a matter of taste. I am very pleased with this purchase.

The entrenching tool is very sturdy, strongly and carefully made. Good quality steel makes it definitely more durable than cheaper alternatives. I really think it's worth paying extra for this product. It has already proved excellent during a few field trips!
