This is one of the better hats. The wide brim protects very effectively from the sun. You can tell that the material contains a lot of polyester, but that is a certain compromise. In tropical conditions, it performs very well.

The military hat made of PoliCotton RipStop fabric (65% cotton, 35% polyester), which is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, and is also lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton material. A detachable cover protects the neck from the sun, and an adjustable cord with a stopper allows even better sizing for the wearer.
A special strap sewn along the hat's circumference creates a system of loops that allow the attachment of camouflage or small equipment. In addition, the hat is equipped with localized ventilation holes on the sides with mesh to protect against insects.

Good value overall, but be aware that there is no sweatband sewn into the hat. The seam where the brim attaches presses against my forehead, making it uncomfortable during longer use. Even my budget Decathlon hats have some sort of overlapping material. I have to wear a merino headband underneath to make it comfortable.

For this price, it’s hard to find any major flaws; I used it on safari and it worked well. I think it will also be suitable for the garden in summer. My only reservation is about the size – the manufacturer could have solved this better.

The hat is pleasant, the brim does not deform even after a long time in a backpack, where it could have been squashed. Breathable and provides good protection from the sun. The only thing I would change is to use snap fasteners instead of Velcro for attaching the neck flap – this would improve ventilation at the brim. All in all, I recommend it.

The price is fine and the product provides protection. However, if someone expects a product identical to the one in the picture, especially in size XXL, they may be disappointed – the size is only slightly larger than XL (by about 1 cm instead of 2 cm). It also lacks the ventilation holes visible in the picture and present in size XL. I intended to return the product because of these discrepancies, but I’d already removed the tag, so I have to keep it. It's a shame I have a different, inferior product for the same price as someone with a smaller head circumference :(

I am satisfied with the purchase. I usually buy size S, but it turned out to be too small, so I gave it to my son and ordered an M for myself. We are both very happy. The hat works great even in full sun. I chose the Coyote colour and it looks really nice.

I give the highest rating because I have no complaints. The material is solid, the workmanship is meticulous, and the finish is decent. The size is accurate, the hat stayed on my head even in strong wind during a kayaking trip, and there is a chin strap just in case. There is no problem with sweating. The neck cover is made of the same material, which makes it a bit stiff—sometimes that's a disadvantage, sometimes an advantage. The price is very favourable.

Overall, the hat is great and fits me perfectly. Very useful in a hot climate like the Arabian Peninsula. The only downside was the lack of a neck cover in my example.
