Very good rain poncho – I walked 30 km in the rain wearing it and stayed dry underneath, although a bit of moisture built up from sweat. Overall, though, I would buy again. It doesn’t let water through and you can tell it’s durable.

The basic version of this rain poncho is made of 100% polyester. Its threads have been braided into a distinctive checkered pattern (RipStop), resulting in a lightweight yet strong and durable weave.
The poncho has additionally been coated with a polyurethane coating. It is equipped with a hood with a drawstring for a good fit on the head. There are metal grommets and snaps on the edges. This product is ideal for short as well as longer field trips. It will successfully cover an adult along with a backpack. In extreme conditions, once it is unzipped and hung up (thanks to the included lines), you can create a small tent. For this purpose, it can be connected thanks to snaps to another of the same which will give a larger protective surface.
Equipment worth having on hand not only when spending time among wildlife, but also in the car glove box and bicycle pannier.
