This backpack has many features that, depending on your use, may turn out to be advantages or disadvantages. For me, there are definitely more positives. I bought the backpack for carrying a small packraft and the things I need for paddling. I wanted to be able to throw it on wet grass, mud or sand and not worry about dirt or expensive equipment (which can be much pricier than this backpack). Overall – it performed very well. Advantages: - Spacious, regular compartment, the actual 35L capacity here is more than 40L in a typical hiking backpack, - Boxy shape, thanks to which the backpack stands stable; it's easy to unpack from the top even when it's standing on sand or grass, - Molle system, - Thick, rubbery material, very practical for outdoor conditions, - Compression straps, with the option to attach for example folding paddles, - Watertight closure. Disadvantages: - Not as comfortable as typical hiking backpacks, mainly due to the lack of a decent hip belt – the strap provided tends to loosen while carrying and needs frequent adjustment (maybe I just haven't learned to use it properly). Still, it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I recommend it, but you need to know what you want to use it for – it's a specific bit of kit. The colour is lighter than in the shop photos, but actually looks better in person (I've attached a photo).

The materials used and the method of closure provide effective protection against water penetration into the backpack. The backpack closed in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations will retain its watertightness even in case of short-term immersion.

Straps have also been placed on the sides of the backpack for compressing the backpack or attaching equipment. Additional mounting points are d-rings located on the backpack's suspenders.

The backpack is roomy, has a single compartment, is completely waterproof and durable. It easily fits a folded foam sleeping mat with a width of 50 cm. The straps are comfortable and the hip belt is more symbolic – it doesn't take the load off your back, but helps to stabilise the backpack during movement. The weight might seem higher than other backpacks of similar capacity, but the material is very hard-wearing and the numerous molle attachments further strengthen the construction. This is yet another backpack for the BOB set, this time expanded with a sleeping mat and a sleeping bag.

Superb. + Waterproof – you don't need to use additional covers, which don't cover the entire backpack anyway. + Very sturdy, made from thick PVC like a tarpaulin, hard to damage, easy to clean, and repairs are simple and quick. + Molle system – simply excellent. + Fairly comfortable: wide, adjustable straps and waist and chest belt. I use it for hiking, canoe and packraft trips, picnics, river crossings. Thanks to its simplicity and durability, it's ideal. The molle system allows you to expand the backpack with additional pouches or pockets as you wish. Although it's Mil-Tec, it's the best backpack I've had and it meets all my expectations.

I bought this backpack with the thought of using it as an evacuation bag for documents and other important, valuable items. + It has one large compartment that can hold a folder, binder, or items of unusual sizes. + It passed the hose test – it's waterproof. + Soft back and light reinforcement allow you to carry it relatively comfortably for a while. + Plenty of well-placed molle points, which allow you to attach various things to the outside. - There's a definite rubber smell, which almost completely disappears after a few weeks of airing out. - It's spacious, but only has one pocket – so it requires an additional organiser for small items. - Due to its solid impregnation, it's quite stiff and difficult to use. - Quite heavy. It's best for quick evacuations or short trips in tough conditions; for everyday use or long expeditions, this weight isn't justified. +- In the opinion of others it's great for kayaking – personally, I think the size and weight would bother me there, but for a larger kayak model it might be suitable. To sum up: a good solution for an evacuation backpack in case of flooding, fire, or for trips in very wet conditions or for winter camping under the open sky. For very long hikes it's probably not suitable, as it is too heavy, stiff, and not very handy.

I've just received the package. The backpack has a slightly noticeable smell of rubber, but it should air out over time. As for design and use – it probably won't work as a typical city backpack, since it only has one compartment. Bought with the idea of carrying field communication equipment on a motorcycle and for this purpose it's ideal: the shape lets you pack various boxes and square items, and the molle lets you attach smaller accessories. It looks very durable, the shoulder straps are fine, although I don't plan on long treks with it, but it is comfortable and has a simple waist belt. The price could be a bit lower, but there isn't much choice in this category – it's not an ordinary dry bag, but a solid backpack made of thick rubber. Time will tell how it holds up in the field; from a craftsmanship point of view, I have no complaints so far. It's a pity there's not even a shallow front pocket for flat items – the molle straps are mounted directly onto the main sack using a welded patch, which is separated inside. Maybe it's possible to add an internal pocket and fastening and still keep it waterproof.

A very interesting backpack, although quite unusual. Brilliant, for example, for kayaking – really waterproof. I'm not sure if it floats on water and if so, for how long. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it's a bit like a solution between a dry bag and a classic backpack. It's not really suited to typical trips, because having just one compartment can be inconvenient. For kayaking – superb, it does its job, although an ordinary waterproof sack costs a fraction of this price. I'm keeping it mainly because of the side straps that allow you to attach a first aid kit, toiletries bag or water bottle. But is the convenience of those straps really worth a tenfold higher price? That's up to the user to decide. In summary: the product is decent if you know exactly what you're looking for and the cost isn't a problem.

I recommend this backpack – it is comfortable, spacious, and most importantly: it really is waterproof.
