Radio operating on a frequency of 446 MHz (PMR) provides a range of up to 12 km. The average range in urban areas, among buildings and obstacles, is 1 or 2 km. In moderately built-up areas with single trees, the range reaches 4-6 km. In open areas with no obstacles between the antennas, the range is at the level of 12 km.

A feature characterising this device is the Dual Watch function, i.e. monitoring of two channels. This allows you to work in the selected band on two different frequencies (transmitting/receiving on the main frequency and receiving on the additional one) with the possibility of changing the main frequency using a button.

Midland G18 Pro NC offers function customisation to individual needs, including activation of options such as FM radio and Compander. To activate them, it is necessary to program the device using optional software and a PRG-G15 programming cable, which are not included, using a PC.

The Scrambler function enables private communication within your group. The built-in VOX function allows automatic reception and transmission of the signal without the need to press the transmission button. Just start talking, and the device automatically switches to transmission mode.

Housing made of durable material, with a system of internal seals, provides an IP67 waterproof rating and meets military standards MIL-STD810G. The G18 Pro NC model is powered by a 1600 mAh lithium-ion battery, and its operating time when fully charged is approximately 22 hours. The radio is equipped with a readable LCD display with orange backlighting.
